　駅前某甘い物店にて、Kymlicka Contemporary Political Philosophy: An Introduction 、Utilitarianism の章を読了。去年の夏期講習の後、集中して読もうかと思いながら、あれやこれやで結局最近までほったらかし…。（でもまぁその間に読解力は多少向上したから、まぁよしとしよう。）
　それにしても、この某甘い物店駅前店は、店内で洋書を読んでいても疎外感が無く、鳥取という土地ではなかなか貴重である。foreignerの人々もちょくちょくいるしね。窓際の端っこ席が、一番落ち着く。

　p.41、公平な取り分と全体のutilityの葛藤に関する部分、

Hare's answer is that the other members of the block are not treated as equals if their preferences are not allowed to outweigh my desire. But surely that is implausible, since they already have their own yard, their own fair share of resources.

ここの 'implausible' は、英和辞典にはないが文脈としては「無理がある」という訳語が適切。
OALDhttp://www.oxfordadvancedlearnersdictionary.com/dictionary/implausibleで調べると、

• not seeming reasonable or likely to be true

とあるので、やっぱりこれでいい。
　で、この「無理がある/ない」という表現は、ちょっと変わった表現だよな、と思い。理が無い状態がある/ない、ということで、分析的に考えるとかなりヘンである。
